School of Economics

The studies of the first cycle of studies at the Faculty of Economics last for four years (eight semesters). The specialist studies of the second cycle at the Faculty of Economics last for one year (2 semesters). The studies of the second cycle of studies at the Faculty of Economics last for one year (2 semesters). The first two semesters of the first cycle cover general economy studies and during this period, the students prepare for their vocation depending on the regular and selective courses they study. Upon the completion of the fourth year, they are awarded with the degree Bachelor of Economics in the respective field (240 ECTS). During the studies of the first cycle and specialist studies, students can choose between four streams:
- Business Economics in the field of finance;
- Business Economics in the field of business management;
- Business Economics in the field of marketing
- Sport management.
Upon the completion of the specialist studies of the second cycle, they are awarded with the degree Specialist (Spec.) in in the respective field (60 ECTS).
Upon the completion of the fifth year of the second cycle of studies, students acquire an additional 60 ECTS (300 ECTS in total) and after defending the master's thesis they are awarded with the degree Mater of Economics in the respective field. The programs they can choose during the second cycle of studies are also in four areas, namely:
- Business Economics in the field of finance and banking;
- Business Economics in the field of business management;
- Business Economics in the field of marketing
- Sport management.
According to ECTS, the university diploma acquired at this Faculty will be equivalent to the university diploma acquired at any other university in Europe. The Faculty comprises of well-established academics that are available for the students and the university for lectures, but also for scientific research activities in the field of economy.
